Internationalization is now an integral part of what we do. Internationalizing your Shopify Plus store will help you reach new markets and increase sales of your products. With Shopify Plus, you have several options for internationalization, which we are happy to explain in more detail. Shopify (Basic - Advanced) also offers options for international sales. Our consultants have over 10 years of experience with all the options and will be happy to advise you in advance.

Multilingualism

To sell internationally with Shopify, you usually need to offer multiple languages. We implement the option for you so that you can maintain the languages independently at any time.

Warehousing

Not every Shopify store should have its own physical warehouse for internationalization? There are several solutions for this (regular) case. For example, our backend team can develop a Shopify app (Shopify plugin) that keeps your inventory in sync or connects stores to your enterprise resource planning system.

Tax & shipping

For international sales, shipping may be (more) expensive and the delivery time longer. There may also be different tax rates to consider. We cannot and do not advise you on tax law, but we are happy to pass on the experience we have gained over the years.

Planning

Our consultants will work with you to plan everything in detail and draw up a list of requirements, which will form the basis of the quotation. This means that the cost and implementation time can be estimated very accurately.

Implementation & training

The stores (Shopify Multishops or an international store) are created, the connections are programmed and you are supported by a project manager throughout the entire process. Our store team will train you on how to use your new Shopify store and the private apps programmed for you.

Test phase & launch

Before the final handover to you, your Shopify store(s) will be thoroughly tested and you will also have the opportunity to test everything. You can make test orders and settings.

Babbel GmbH is a model company when it comes to internationalization. Both the team and the users are diverse. Babbel successfully sells its vouchers in over 20 stores worldwide and is therefore an expert in Shopify internationalization.

Lensit

Another company that comes to mind in terms of internationalization is Lensit. Lensit is the subsidiary of Mister Spex and operates a Norwegian contact lens store.
