Lensit

Lensit is a well-known Norwegian contact lens store. Under its German parent company Mister Spex, Lensit was given a new layout using Shopify Plus. It was important to maintain the user experience (UX) and adapt it to the new, fresh design.

TO THE WEBSITE

Challenge / Goal

  • Retention of the familiar UX in the new design

  • Re-order function in the header

  • Complex price lists (referrers)

  • Connection to various systems

  • Product filter per category

  • Retrieve the availability of a product variant “on the fly”

  • Handling of product data for thousands of variants on the product page

  • Omnichannel

  • Emarsys implementation

Implementation

Lensit presented us with a number of challenges. Together with the Mister Spex Lensit team, we worked on connecting the new systems. As part of the move to Shopify Plus, a number of new systems were acquired and adapted. This included special features such as the connection of a price search engine, the re-order function, the regular update of all product data from the internal systems and the "on the fly" availability check of the selected variant (thickness, etc.) after selecting the properties.
