CoffeeB

CoffeeB is an innovative brand from Delica AG that stands for sustainable coffee enjoyment—with coffee balls instead of traditional capsules. As part of a large-scale migration project, the existing Shopware store was successfully split into two Shopify Plus stores: CoffeeB Switzerland and CoffeeB Germany. Both brand stores offer a modern user experience and support four languages each in order to optimally address a broad target group.

Challenge / Goal

  • Migration of the Shopware shop to two independent Shopify Plus stores

  • Joint design development and selection of a suitable theme

  • Implementation of a modern front end

  • Ensuring a stable, multilingual shop architecture

  • Mapping individual customer-relevant functions, e.g., machine registration and a gift with the purchase of a coffee machine

  • Connection and configuration of apps such as Channable, Judge.me, and Matrixify

Implementation

The implementation was carried out in close cooperation with Delica: While Delica was responsible for the backend, the Latori team took care of frontend development and complete data migration. Design and functionality were further developed in a targeted manner during daily coordination meetings.

A key part of the project was the development of special features that further enhance the shopping experience at CoffeeB. These include digital machine registration, which allows customers to quickly and easily register their coffee machine online after purchase.

In addition, a customer loyalty feature has been integrated via the Bogos app that automatically assigns a gift: when purchasing a coffee machine, customers receive a free set of innovative Coffee Balls. This solution not only enhances the direct added value of the purchase, but also supports long-term customer relationships and a compelling brand experience.
