Shopify Consulting & Sales

As a Technical Sales Representative, you'll advise potential clients on our Shopify and Shopify Plus solutions. You'll translate technical features into business benefits and help customers develop the right e-commerce strategy.

Technical Requirements Analysis

You'll work closely with potential clients to understand their technical requirements and develop appropriate solution proposals. This includes analysing existing systems and developing migration strategies.

Customer Project Development

You'll guide the entire sales process from initial inquiry to contract conclusion, working closely with our development and design team to create customized offers.

Your Responsibilities

  • Advise potential clients on Shopify and Shopify Plus solutions and their benefits

  • Conduct technical needs assessments and create individualized solution concepts

  • Prepare and present compelling proposals and demos for Shopify projects

  • Work closely with the development team to clarify technical feasibility

  • Advise on migration options from other e-commerce platforms to Shopify

  • Mediate between client technical requirements and internal implementation teams

  • Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities with existing clients

  • Track sales opportunities and provide regular reporting on the sales process

Your profile

Must-have

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in technical sales, preferably in SaaS or e-commerce

  • Fluent German language skills (C1/C2) spoken and written

  • Additional foreign language skills (English min. B2)

  • Shopify experience and understanding of the Shopify ecosystem (apps, themes, APIs)

  • Technical understanding of e-commerce platforms and integrations

  • Experience presenting complex technical solutions to non-technical decision-makers

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving competence

  • Experience with CRM systems and sales processes

  • Residence within DACH region (NOTE: we cannot sponsor work visas)

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with Shopify Plus and its specific features (Flow, Launchpad, Script Editor)

  • Knowledge of frontend or backend development

  • Understanding of e-commerce integrations (ERP, PIM, CRM)

  • Experience with migration projects from other e-commerce platforms to Shopify

  • Sales experience in an agency environment

  • Knowledge of digital marketing strategies

  • Network in the e-commerce industry
